From mother to wife, business woman to best friend, a woman is the heartbeat of her family. She gently holds the soul of each family member in the palm of her hand in the best and worst of times. Our three programs for mothers foster the process of reconnection and provide a safe and fun environment to make memories that last a lifetime.
Mama’s Vacation: When faced with the unimaginable, having to deal with treatments to fight breast cancer while you’re pregnant can take on a completely new set of rules. The emotional and physical outcome of making hard decisions and enduring grueling treatment takes it toll on mothers with breast cancer. They find themselves seeking the comfort and camaraderie of other mom’s who share their experiences. SMOV provides a platform and a program based on wholistic principals that support emotional wellness. Learning about managing stress, breathing, and emotional fitness are priceless tools to master while fighting breast cancer.
Mamas Boys & Mamas Girls
These programs are designed to restore bonds between mothers and children that have weakened during the treatment phase of fighting cancer.
Each group vacation provides mothers and their children a place in nature to reconnect with each other at a deeper level. Each vacation provides moms and kids the chance to create exciting new experiences that last a lifetime.
Mamas Boys vacations combine the element of nature and adventure together at a vacation property that offers organic activities such as hiking, fishing, boat rides and outdoor activities. Our goals are to build strong bonds in nature between mom’s and sons. Boys must be between 6-12 years old. The number of participating children for each trip may vary based on donations.
Mamas Girls vacations were created based on our signature program, A Mermaid’s Journey. Moms and their daughters will attend a mini empowerment workshop including guided meditation, yoga, hiking, ocean activities and an mermaid photo therapy. Girls must be between 6-12 years old. The number of participating children for each trip may vary based on donations.
