  1. I would like to apply for a vacation, what is the process?




    Please visit our general requirements HERE. Once you have established your eligibility to apply, you will need to complete the application get the necessary signatures and mail it to Send Me On Vacation, Inc, 3050 South Durango Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89117.

  2. I do not live in the United States, am I still eligible for a vacation?




    Send Me On Vacation is a global organization and is not limited to United States recipients. Applications are currently being excepted from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Australia. Vacation Donor Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I would like to donate certificates from Vidanta, how do I do this?




    Please upload electronically on our website HERE. There is no need to mail in physical certificates. We have an agreement with Vidanta that allows us to activate your donated certificate electronically.

  2. How can I donate a week to send a survivor and her family on vacation?




    If you wish to participate in donating a week to send a survivor and her family on vacation, you can donate a week with a paid maintenance fee. To do so, contact Cathy at cbackus@sendmeonvacation.org

  3. I’ve donated Vidanta certificates, how do I check the status?




    We are grateful for your donation of the certificate. There is no way to check the status of the certificates at this time. Please be sure you are donating the certificate with no immediate expectation of use. We use these certificates to generate funds on online travel auctions and live events, when the time and place is appropriate.

  4. I’ve donated Vidanta certificates, do i need to send in the physical certificate?




    There is no need to forward the paper certificates.  We have an agreement with Vidanta that allows us to activate your donated certificate electronically.

  5. I’d like to better understand how this program works. If I have Vidanta Ambassador Certificates, does that mean I have to pay for the week then donate those to you, or would there be someone else paying my usage fee, and all I need to do is turn in my Ambassador certificates?




    No, you do not pay any fees when donating guest certificates. We sell these certificates online and the  person who purchases the certificate pays the maintenance fee plus a small donation fee. We use these donations to fund our Empowerment Vacations.
